Thank you for kind reply :-)

One more question : I replaced standalone server with embedded to be
sure that when my program is not working it does not harm MSSQL :-(
, but caould I be sure that when closing my program fb embedded is also
closed even if my import utility was done a huge delete operation on
some table inside firebird database ? I set sweep interval to zero.
Remember : i must be sure to not blame Firebird !
