I have a w3k server which is running Microsoft SQL for 2 applications. I am in the process of installing another program, CafeEnterprise, which uses firebird for its SQL. I installed Firebird 1.5 with no problems. Both the firebird guardian and firebird server as running as services. I am able to install both CafeEnterprise Serveron the W3k server with no problem. I am also able to install CafeEnterprise client with no problem. But when I try to run the client it says that it can not find the host. Can microsoft SQL and firebird run on the same server and how can I verify the firebird is working properly.
