Sorry,

We had to set the RecVersion to true for both of our transactions - so they
ended up as:

RecVersion = true;
LockWait = false;
Isolation = tiCommitted;

One of our guys also found this on the IBObjects site which pretty much
described the scenario we were in:

http://faq.ibobjects.com/scripts/ibofaq.dll/ppQueryResult?submit=+Query+&key
wdid=503

We also found that once we moved to SS it seemed to work - then after a
couple of hours the problems started to occur again. So (as Helen pointed
out) it was not a problem with the server arch, which was my first thought.

It just seemed like the logical step that is was CS as we have the same code
deployed to many sites all running on SS and have never seen this before
(until this database however).

Anyway, it's beer-o'clock here so thanks for the help Helen, and have a good
weekend all.

-ryan.
