Try the free IBUtils, is's the same, my english is poor to, i'm a cuban...so.
You'v to work with the Dialect 3, if need it, just that, in the
database component.
I'd work with FireBird 1.0 and Delphi 5, and i remenber that there not
more problem outside Dialects.

En español si es tu caso.
Especifica el dialecto 3 cuando migres en la database, y en el
componente de base de datos, si no te sirven los que dá delphi (en la
ver 7 el dialecto 3 es el default, pero en la 5 es el opcional).
puedes buscar los IBUtils, y si no yo te los paso.
