Hi All,
I am running firebird server version 1.5 on a windows 2000 machine.
After creating the first database first.fdb, i changed the SYSDBA from
masterkey to newpwd.
I installed the firebird server on a second machine and copied the
first.fdb file over to this machine. Note this server still has the
SYSDBA password as masterkey.
My problem is that i could access the first.fdb from my second machine
using masterkey as the password.
This means that there is no physical security for the fdb file and just
about anyone who can get an access to this file can open it simply by
installing the rdbms.
If im missing something, please help.
Regards,
Girish
