This is part of the Firebird Client Install, not part of the ODBC driver
install.

Because it's responsability of the client install software not the ODBC

If you have problems try posting in the FB-ODBC-Devel list, Vladimir has
an incredible ability to fix problems lightning fast !
Last message I saw from him he is saying that is on a business trip, but
