Dear All,
Backup is the best. All other are useful.
:)
I had following problem in one of company (our user - big company).
The server was stop (block) because to high temperature. We had 3 disks in
RAID. Before (in time) the block of server, Firebird (or controller) is make logically error on
database. GFIX did not solved the problem. Database did not physically
damaged. I had to return database from backup (17min old). We add lost
transaction from log file. I wrote application that make backup every 30min.
With Best Regards
Miki A.
