I've only compiled Firebird on OS 10.3.8. But since
I've upgraded from 10.3 to 10.4, my original
installation of Firebird still runs on 10.4.2.

However, I've tried to re-compile Firebird 1.5.2.4731
on 10.4.2 but failed with error:
make[3]:
***[../temp/libfbcommon/common/classes/alloc.o] Error
1
make[2]: *** [libfbcommon] Error 2
make[1]: *** [../gen/firebird/bin/gpre_static] Error 2
