Hi all...

After I read the release of PostgreSQL v.8.0, I was expecting there would be
some kind of congratulation from Firebird Project to PostgreSQL Project on
Firebird official website. I think it'd be nice if Firebird do such a thing,
since both are well-known open source database with strong community. I think we
are suppose to consider PostgreSQL as an older "cousin" to Firebird. :) I don't
mean to say that PostgreSQL is better than Firebird, but I think we need to
forget the "technical things" sometimes. :)
