Fair enough, just some people dump ONLY the dlls in the exe directory
and expect the program to use them...but it typically doesn't (under
2K/XP flavours and I think ME) if there are already files with these
names in the system folders.

RE 98SE:
From the playing around I did a few months ago under 98, I'm pretty
sure I ended up doing as you suggested and updating the msvcrt dlls and
that seemed to do the trick.
