Hello,

Every day I receive 3-10 of these errors in my Firebird logs:

INET/INET_CONNECT: gethostbyname failed, error code=11004

I am running Firebird Superserver 1.5.1 on a Windows 2003 Server. After
researching the web I learned I had to modify my services file to
include the following entry:

gds_db 3050/tcp

I made the change, but I still receive the error. I haven't rebooted
the machine yet. Does it require a reboot to correct this problem?
