Inside the directory is an autogen.sh file.

I execute it like this:

./autogen.sh --help

Then you see all the options. Autogen actually generated a configure
script that you should call now. I call it like this:

./configure --enable-superserver --with-editline

When that is finished, you just have to do:

make

When the building finishes it tells you what to do to install and where
you can find the installer.
