I know, I know, use TCPIP instead...
However, its been a long while since I looked at this, and it seems when you connect a client to a server using W2000 or XP the
rules have been changed from how it used to previously work..
Seems the folder where firebird is installed on the server needs to be shared (allow r/w access), so the security database can be
read, and the folder where your actual database is, also needs to be shared (allow r/w access). There has to be a neater solution to
this? Anybody know of one?
