Hi
I have been trying to get the task scheduler in Win2003 server to make IB
backups.
I have a .bat file which calls gbak - this can be run manually OK
I have a number of SCHTASKS commands like
SCHTASKS /CREATE /TN WWED4 /TR "MyBATFile.bat WED1800" /SC WEEKLY /D WED /ST
18:00:00
I can run this manually OK
The Task Scheduler service has 'Interact with desktop' checked and System
account selected.
All the files concerned like GBAK.exe, the database etc have no permission
restrictions.
If the schedule fires when I am logged in it works fine.
When it fires when no-one is logged in the event fires but GBAK exits with
'unavailable database'
Any ideas gratefully received ;-)
Regards
Paul
