I use FireBird v.1.5.1RC3 superserver. Tested on both linux and
windows - tcpdump shows, that server initiates a disconnect after 3
minutes. Even tried with different ports, see last try with port
6050(names are changed):

For me even "telnet localhost 3050" disconnects after 3min, FB Manager
however seems to stay open longer (~10..15 min) with localhost
