Hi,
I have a 14GB Firbeird 1.5 Database on a Windows 2000 server, and
when I execute:
GBAK -b -t -v DatabaseAlias C:\backup\Database.fbk -user sysdba -
password masterkey
everything is ok. But when I execute:
GBAK -b -t -v DatabaseAlias \\.\Tape0 -user sysdba -password masterkey
I got the message:
Done with volume #1, "\\.\tape0"
Press return to reopen that file, or type a new
name followed by return to open a different file.
Name:
when I hit return I got the same message with a new volume number
even if the tape has a size of 20GB.
Is this a bug? or am I doing something wrong?
Please your help.
I need to backup my database to a tape device and the database is
planned to grow beyond the capacity of one sigle backup tape so is it
possible to backup to multiple tapes?
Thanks in advance
Eduardo
