I have asked our support manager to give me some feedback regarding
FB performance vs. IB performance. Unknown to me, he had already started
testing - our standard Anti Virus software, AVG Anti - Virus, uses FB 1.5, so
it makes it easier if we only have to install one RDBMS rather than two.

One thing I can confirm - FB 1.5 does work with Interbase Express (v. 4.2)
components. This includes TIBQuery, TIBStoredProc, TIBConfigService, TIBTable,
and TIBTransaction; and works very well with these components.

Yes, I am as surprised as I am sure you all are ... :-D
