Hi to all,
I installed FirebirdCS 1.0.3 on Linux (Gentoo 1.4). I like to have the
DB available over the net: For this I edited the xinetd configuration
file and added an entry to the services file. Now the connection does
work correctly if the connection comes from localhost, but it doesn't
work if I connect over the net, even if the connection comes from the
same host but connects with the public IP of the machine.
Statement failed, SQLCODE = -902
Unable to complete network request to host "192.168.1.253".
-Failed to establish a connection.
-Connection refused
I have no firewall installed and in the host.equiv I added the ip. Does
anyone know what's the problem? thanks
Max
