The Advanced Data Generator is a different tool for a different job :-)

Download "Database Workbench" from the same site, and try using
the "Import" function from the Tools menu. It gives you the possibility
to do a CSV import, but also to define your own column delimiter,
entering the pipe symbol here should probably help.
