Given the number of crash bugs "fixed" in the latest InterBase update, that
must have been some presentation. Did they offer specifics or just a
general sneer? Interesting, though, that until now, the rest of Borland
never thought much of InterBase - consider the design of BDE which could
have been created specifically to cripple InterBase and subsequent
interface attempts that serve to hide some of its most powerful
features. Getting Borland to love InterBase is an accomplishment for
Firebird, I guess... (Rather like the moment in the mid-19th century when
the women's suffrage movement in the US inspired passage of a
constitutional amendment specifying that voters are male citizens...)
