Subject Re: Dual Firebird conflict!

Thanks for your reply Paul,

I seem to remember something being said (maybe it was fedback in a
Quasar discussion archive ?) that it would be necessary to uninstall
other versions of firebird before installing Quasar. I just checked the
user manual briefly but nothing has come to sight immediately
regarding this.

So I'm assuming that conflicts are to be expected if the two versions are
running at once (at least conflicts from Quasar's perspective). That's
why I want to see if I can just shut down Firebird15 while I work in
Quasar, then start it up again when I'm done.

So I was looking for something the equivalent of "ibmgr -shut" (which is
in the Interbase 6.0 manual "GetStart.pdf"). Is there an equivalent
approach that I could use in Firebird15 ?

Cheers,

Andrew
