Thanks all for laying out the issues. Probably we will slowly convert select
databases, merging the rest well before FIB 3.0 comes along.
Another question, is it absolutely necessary to change every .gdb to .fdb?
We do not shadow on our server (runs 2003). My test machine runs W2000 SP3.
It would save us a day or two of changing data sources. All new DB's would
be .fdb.

IBX.
