Tkts by answer, one more question, if you not use charset BIG_5 or GB_2313 are you setting up your database with wich charset?

Another thing my program will be used on Hong Kong, i'm already know how change the character set on my program's, but my problem know is just how storage this on database, because my default charset to all database is WIN1252, but when i set the client for BIG_5 the database raise an error.

I have done a program where in chinese character where entered in the
database. If youre working in a english windows OS, you can try NJ Star
or something similar to that. However I have some mistake when I start
doing this. I didn't set the char set of the database to BIG_5 or
GB_2313. I don't know what will be the effect of this since when Iam
trying to do so I didn't see any difference. Perhaps some other experts
here may tell.
