When I Install firebird 1.0.3 on a Suse 7.3 box it runs well until I restart the server.
After restart the server i can't get connection from a workstation. it´s only works from the server
I've read the README file and i did what it ask me to do but i couldn't fix it
From the server
SQL> connect 211.3.40.12:/var/firebird/teste.gdb
CON> ;
Database: 211.3.40.12:/var/firebird/teste.gdb, User: sysdba
SQL>
fw:/etc # netstat -an |grep 3050
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:3050 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
fw:/etc #
# hosts.equiv This file describes the names of the hosts which are
# to be considered "equivalent", i.e. which are to be
# trusted enough for allowing rsh(1) commands.

localhost

211.3.40.34
211.3.40

211.3.40.34 is the workstation from I am trying to connect to firebird
From the WS 211.3.40.34 telnet 211.3.40.12 3050 It do not work but telnet 211.3.40.12 it works so I am able to reach the server
Some one cam help me!
