I would check the firewall. IPChains or IPTables are quite common
with Linux, with plenty of info available on the web. Don't know how
Suse works, but on RH it is usually always /etc/sysconfig/ipchains or
/etc/sysconfig/iptables. Read up on this before you go crazy on these
config files though.
