i would try the following:

-- change from odbc to ado with connection.polling

-- in the eventlog of the server start the eventlog and make a "power log"
(i don't now the right word, in german it's called:
Leistungsdatenprotokoll - Start - System - Systemmonitor)
there you can make a protocol for every process on your server ...

-- take etherreal and log the network traffic...
