Hi all,

I am having some strange behaviour with Embedded 1.5.


If I use Zeos, I can connect no problem - even without
firebird.conf in the directory, but if I use IBX (obviously
with gds32.dll (rather than fbclient.dll) it keeps giving
me Database unavailable. I thought that I had it working before,
but it seems to have failed again.

Just to reiterate, with Zeos, it couldn't be simpler.

With IBX - Unavailable database.


BTW, I also have IB 6.0.1.0 installed, but it is switched
off in the services and the machine has been rebooted.


Anybody got any ideas?
