Hi,
in an automatic database-update (table-structure) we first shut down the
database to disable login during this process.
With this shut down database we firstly make a backup (gbak.exe V
6.2.3.972).
This backup sometimes crashes the firebird-server (takes 100% resources
forever).
One reason could be that the last restore of the database did not have a
explicit parameter for Page Size (--> default page size).
There has never been a chrash with an active database (not shut down).
Are there any experiences with this issue?
SQL-Dialect = 3, character set = WIN1252
Thank you,
Josef Gschwendtner
