A few months ago I did a test installation of FB 1.0 on a linux
server (with Red Hat, I believe).
At that time I could happily connect with my procedure.
I went back to programming and never tried to connect to the linux
server.
Today I tried the connection and - guess what ? - I cannot access any
database.
The server is remote and shared. I can connect to it as root using
SSH.
I suspect that somebody may have rebuilt the kernel w/o FB.
How do I realize if FB is running ?
Thank you
