Alan,
I'm writing the app in a machine with Win2000, FB and Access, that acts both
as a FB server and a client for FB as the app runs here while is being
written.
I have installed FB in a folder called "c:\fb", and my database in
"c:\fb\data\mydb.fdb".
In this machine, I setup a DSN with a database path of "c\fb\data\mydb.fdb",
and the application is running OK.
Now for the network. I'll install FB on the server, in a folder with the
same name as above. I'll install the ODBC driver on each of the
workstations.
My server has a name "WINSERVER".
What do I type on "database path" on each of the workstations DSN
configuration ?.
