Hi
I have taken the liberty of naming this (unknown) discussion.
As I understand Oracle is the only with a real load balancing on
multiple servers (cluster). I find the most interesting with this
feature is the increased fault tolerance.
As I understand shadow and replication allows automatic data
duplication. Then by letting the clients hunt for working servers a
fault redundant system can be build. But kind of scary if no supervising
function exists so clients risk up using different servers?
Load blanching sound more difficult?
Best Regards

On the light side:
I think its important to let Mr, Ellison earn some more many as he need
to repaint his boat SKAT. Fellow Norwegians and I where pretty shocked
when the luxury beyond sanity boat turned up in Norway last summer in a
dull grey paint probably bought on a military surplus outlet.
