The most commonest mistake with Oracle
is when the database is setup most people forget to
change the default SYSDBA username(s) & password(s).

You don't know anything about me.
That is a common mistake too, which is to express an
opinion about another without knowing anything about
that person.

Database *file* security, true. Provided you have a
bombproof way to

True, you can't protect the data from the person who
has SYSDBA access. If
that includes the developers, the "more fool The
Boss". Developers don't
need SYSDBA access.
