Seriuosly, I did read RN (I cannot find the other files you quote).
Of RN, I read the chapters I was interested in:
- compatibility with older versions
- installation notes
(if I am supposed to deeply read 57 pages to install a new version of
a product I already know, there is something wrong with the doc or
with the product, IMHO)
I read InstallNotes and can even point out an error in the
explanations:
instreg install <root>
(where <root> is the full path to the bin directory) won't be accepted
instreg install
will.
If you can suggest the points you think I overlooked, I'll be happy.
Best regards
