what, in firebird/interbase, is the maximum feasible row width for a table?
We have added one field to a specific table which has been denormalized for
lookup purposes and now the table performs like a dog (550 ms for a fetch of
one field using an indexed field to locate record from table with 4 rows)
We are using firebird 1.2 sql dialect 1, but our end users could be using
either firebird or interbase.
