Hi

I am slowing moving over to Linux , I have the firebird server (1.5)
running and aliases set up.
My question is because the Linux server effectively has no database
but an alias set up , how do I move my database over.


I can create an OS independent backup, but how do I convert this to
the correct format to put into my Linux server.
Will restore use the alias even though no files actually exists ?

I also have database workbench on windows.
