We are still trying to choose a database, and Firebird is high
contender!

But, looked at some previous posts that says Unicode support is not
fully functional, specifically UPPER on a unicode field?

I am new to unicode too, but we have to support DBCS in our next
release.

Can anyone shed some light on this, please? Would this issue be
a "show stopper"?
