Hi
I'm kinda new to Firebird and have some questions..
I come from a Lotus Notes background and I'm used to having very good
control of security. In Notes you have very good control of "what is
allowed to be shown to whom"
I want to use Firebird to store some binary files and I just read that
when stored as BLOB Firebird ignores security ???
If you know the ID of the record then you can get hold of the BLOBs . Is
this true?..and what can be done to secure it better?
regards
