Hi,

I am trying to set up Firebird 1.0.2 on Linux, and I am having this problem:

[root@lshift01 etc]# cd ~john/
[root@lshift01 john]# rpm -ivh FirebirdSS-1.0.2.908-0.i386.rpm

I've tried reinstalling from scratch and nothing seems to make any
difference. I've installed Firebird on other machines and not seen
this problem. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance
