I'm new with FireBird on the Unix system, I'm not even sure I
properly installed it but it works locally, I can connect to the DB
and run query through isql but when I try to connect remotely from a
Windows box from instance I always have the same error message:
Connecting... Failed!
------------------------------------
Unsuccessful execution caused by a system error that precludes
successful execution of subsequent statements.
Unable to complete network request to host "11.0.0.16".
Failed to establish a connection.
The system could not find the environment option that was entered.
I've tried a TCP/IP test through IBConsole and it passed, I was able
to connect the socket but no chance when I try to attach to the DB.
Any idea?
