Subject RE: [ib-support] Firebird - W98 2nd Edition

I answered that just a little while ago. Didn't you get the e-mail ??
Here it is again:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The 10054 errors that you see in the interbase.log file are network errors (
INET/inet_error) that are simply being recorded by the database. The 10054's
are indicating that the client opened a connection, then died without
closing the connection. This is commonly seen when a user simply powers off
a client computer (running a client application), instead of shutting the
program down "properly"..
If you are seeing these errors as the result of something else, it could be
a bad NIC (network) card, flaky network switches, routers, etc., or simply
bad progamming on the client application(s) (object being destroyed without
closing the connection first), etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Attachments do not seem to come through the list server interface. Can
you post the more recent entries of the log within the body of a message?
