It is reassuring to know there are firebird on linux users on this list. I
use firebird client and server on linux only.

Question: Is there a switch to start isql so that the arrow keys are
useful? At the moment there is no line editing whatsoever each line has to
be typed anew. Data entry becomes error-prone and tedious when inserting
data even in a modest-sized table.
