I have been using IB for many years , now on IB 6.

I am thinking of migrating to Firebird soon because of migration
issues with IB dialects.

Also I run web sites that have multiple IB dbs (Websnap, webbroker).
I have been struggling with some BDE "initialization failure" on a
sporadic basis, and unable to solve.

Any recommendations for an alternative connection...If ADO then any
recommended OLE DB providers for IB/Firebird.

Any comments or recommendations of IBOjects components.
