TCP/IP running on a stand alone machine, and that depends
which OS you are using. On most versions of windows you can
still configure the network, but you may need to 'add' the
'Microsoft Loopback Adapter' in order to keep it working on
W2k.
As long as TCP/IP is running then <Machine>:c:\Database will
work ( <Machine> will need to be added to your HOSTS file,
again OS specific - either c:\Windows\HOSTS for 98X ot
c:\Winnt\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS for most others )
