Hi all,
When I try to register to events with the IBX event alerter to IB 6.0.1.6, I
get an 'unable to create secondary connection for event' stuff thingy and
after that, both the client and the IBServer (for existing connections)
totally lock up.
I've read bug 213460 (Registering events w/certain configuration crashes IB
Server) on SourceForge for Firebird, but our server has a different
configuration.
It has two networkcards - one with 1 IP and the other with 2 IP addresses.
All addresses are internal LAN addresses. There's a permanent dialup
connection available but that runs on another pc. The server is also a proxy
server - so IP routing is turned on.
Also installed on the PC is the NetBEUI protocol - and it seems to be the
1st available protocol (NT 4, don't really know my way around in there
compared to Win2000 :)
Any ideas on why and how to fix it?
thanks,
Martijn Tonies
