Hi Folks,

I have an ASTA application that uses ibobjects and Firebird 0.94. Seems
when a few users hit a large query (~4000 rows) around the same time, i seem
to get a number of 10054 errors in the interbase log. Here is one such
entry:

GCRC05 (Server) Wed Feb 27 12:14:12 2002
INET/inet_error: read errno = 10054

The asta server (really a typical ib client app) runs on its own server and
firebird also runs on its own server. These servers (Both Win 2K Advanced
Server) are in the same rack and same subnet (i.e. there are no additional
hops between the two machines). several rounds of pinging shows no packet
loss and 0ms timing. we just tried the latest RC2 gds32.dll (1.0.0.679) to
no avail. These servers are connected with 100MB NICS and are not at all
getting heavy use. they are new compaq proliant dl380 and dl360s.

Anybody have a clue what is going on here?
