Oh well, I suppose I just demonstrated the natural tendency to underestimate the

We haven't even funding for proper network cabling here!

It would probably be best for Firebird to copy Interbase, even if it is behind.
That would make life easier for people like us who may want to go either way,
depending on the liberality of the clients, and we would just live with the fact
that somethings wouldn't work under Firebird. But maybe the Firebird developers
have ambitions of their own...

I tried looking at www.fibplus.com but it was timing out. Looks interesting from
teh comments.
