HI,
I read in the interbase.general newsgroup that "Its clear that IB and Firebird
are going to become further apart, so we will all have to decide on a 'version'
sooner rather than later.". In the same thread Craig Stunz said "There is no
guarantee that Firebird will be API-compatible with IB enough for IBX to work
100%, and nobody has announced the intention to fork IBX to support Firebird."
That's a pity. Shouldn't there be a commitment to keep them API-Compatible?
Regards
Mark
