Hi all,
I've installed some time ago (some 2 months ago to be more exact)
Firebird RC1 on a Linux (based on RH 7.1; 2.4x kernel) and only now
I've looked at the interbase.log to find it with +250Kb!
Firebird is reporting the errors:
-(Client)INET/inet_error: connect errno = 111
-(Server)SERVER/process_packet: connection rejected for root
then after a lot of: conection rejected stuff, it reads:
-(Client)/opt/interbase/bin/ibguard: guardian starting bin/ibserver
and it reads a lot of connection rejected stuff again.
Now, what have I done wrong? I've installed FB as root, and I've been
using it to develop my apps normally, so I presumed that everything
was ok. Do I have to re-install? (I've already downloaded RC2, but
haven't installed it yet). What should I do to avoid this error
message?
I know this may seem a bit futile, but In some days I'll be
installing FB in a client, and I don't want something going wrong at
his company (because my lack on knowledge).
TIA
Andrew
