Duilio, I did not understand the relation between the QBE and what you
are asking: to convert the time into a human readable string you can
write a simple UDF, or even an SP. AFAICT, QBE would make easier
expressing the "grouping" and "filtering" parts of the query, but
won't make them more readable.

If you need an example, I can share my code with you, I already have
such a UDF, in two version, C and Pascal.
