This costed me a lot of time yet and you have convinced me to drop
IBX, so I stop here and will rebuild my test-app with another
toolset. I've downloaded FIBPlus trial because this is derived from
the same components as IBX. There is als IBO wich want to stay tuned
with both Interbase and Firebird, but works more like BDE. What does
that mean? And how about a Firebird dbExpress driver?
Thanks a lot to all the people who helped with this weird problem.
